Miyako is considered quite a cheery and boisterous person. She won't hesitate to make sure everyone has heard her opinion -this sometimes being a bad thing as she doesn't take into factor their feelings afterwords- and is usually the energetic one of the group. Yet even though she usually acts border-line hyper at most times, she is more than capable of making decisive decisions and is actually quite intelligent. In fact, she is known to be able to fix anything from a simple toaster to the complex electronics of a computer with relative ease.
While she is reckless with her energy, this causes her friends to sometimes suffer, and as a result, she becomes extremely upset at her actions, blaming herself for their pain. Yet she is easily able to shake out of her grief with a few supportive words from her loyal Digimon partner, Hawkmon, and her close friends.
Also, she has a tendency to fall head-over-heels for any 'cute guy' she sees (examples are Michael and Ichijouji Ken), but she is true to her word and -being the blunt girl that she is- will not lead them into any false-hoods.
